working process
DTF Transfer Workflow
1.Create your artwork on computer and send it to your DTF printer.
2.Print the design onto PET DTF film with CMYK color ink followed by white ink base.
3.Apply hot-melt adhesive powder over the wet-ink surface, then shake off all excess powder.
4.Cure the printed film in a dryer until the powder melts fully, then cool it down.
5.Flatten your garment, pre-press it for 3-5 seconds with the handheld heat press to remove wrinkles and moisture.
6.Place the finished DTF transfer film ink-side-down on the correct position of fabric.
7.Cover the transfer with heat-resistant parchment paper to protect the surface.
8.Set proper temperature and time on your handheld heat press, apply steady, even pressure for 10-15 seconds.
9.Let the garment cool completely, then peel off the PET film smoothly at a 45-degree angle.
10.Do a short secondary press to improve pattern adhesion and washing durability.
